Başkent University Public Relations and Publicity Society (BÜHİT), together with Başkent University Communication Design Society, developed collaborations with Ankara Public Relations Association (AHİD) in the Spring Semester 2022-2023. These two societies within Başkent University Faculty of Communication organized meetings to support the institutional promotion of the Ankara Public Relations Association, whose board of directors has changed.The first meeting was held at the Ankara Public Relations Association on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 between 10:00-12:00. The meeting was attended by Nurcan Karagöz Herschi, President of the Association; Prof. Dr. Şebnem Pala Güzel, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, Faculty of Communication, Başkent University; Prof. Dr. G. Senem Gençtürk Hızal, Head of the Department of Communication and Design, Faculty of Communication, Başkent University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. F. Senem Güngör, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Başkent University; Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Akçay, Assist. Assist. Eda Akgün Sakızcı, Assist. Assist. Eylem Temizer and Başkent University Public Relations and Publicity Society General Assembly Member students attended the meeting. The agenda of the meeting consisted of possible collaborations between the faculty and the association. The President of the Association requested support from the students for the institutional promotion of the association. In this context, how the social media and internet promotion of the association, which was founded in 1990, will be carried out; how the people who will become members of the association will be determined; which institutions will be the internal stakeholders of the association were discussed and the distribution of tasks was realized. The meeting was concluded to meet again in the future.
