Başkent University Department of Public Relations and Publicity accompanied the Public Relations Association of Turkey on its 50th anniversary visit to Anıtkabir.

The Public Relations Association of Turkey, a professional organization in the field of public relations and publicity in Turkey and founded by Alaeddin Asna in 1972, visited the Anıtkabir on Saturday, October 8, 2022 on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. TÜHİD Chairman İpek Özgüden Özen, members of the association's board of directors, past presidents, members of the association, public relations academics and professionals, and Başkent University Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity academics and students also participated in the visit.

Representing the faculty, Başkent University Public Relations Society (BÜHİT) member students and Head of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity Prof. Dr. Şebnem Pala Güzel, Head of the Department of Communication and Design Prof. Dr. G. Senem Gençtürk Hızal, Lecturer Ebru Akçay and Research Assistant Prof. Dr. Senem Gençtürk Hızal. Prof. Dr. Ebru Akçay and Research Assist. Assist. Eylem Temizer attended the wreath laying ceremony at the mausoleum with the TÜHİD delegation.  At the end of the visit, wishes were expressed to continue the cooperation between TÜHİD and Başkent University Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity. TÜHİD Chairman İpek Özgüden Özen stated that they would be happy to participate in the events organized by the Department of Public Relations and Publicity and BÜHİT. BÜHİT member students thanked TÜHİD for their kind invitation.
